We, Kamifurano Board of Education, are recruiting an Assistant English Teacher as follows:

Duties
Assist with English class instruction at junior high schools and elementary schools. To prepare materials for English classes and participate in related English as a second language (ESL) research.
Teach English classes at nursery schools, kindergartens, and for adults.
Participate in special activities and/or extra curricular activities held by schools and/or the town of Kamifurano.
Participate in international exchange activities and/or projects related to the internationalization of Kamifurano with its sister city Camrose, Alberta, Canada.
Further Japanese English teacher's instruction by providing support.
Other duties specified by the Board of Education and/or a school principal.
Qualifications
Applicants must:
have a valid residence card or alien card (with Instructor's Visa)
possess at least a Bachelor'ｓ degree or equivalent educational training
speak English as his/her first language
participate in school events positively
be sound in mind and body
have a certain measure of Japanese language competence
have a Japanese or valid international driver's license
Working Conditions
Period of employment From August 1, 2016 to July 31, 2017
Working Hours Typically from 8:30 – 17:15 Monday – Friday (including a one hour lunch break)
Remuneration
311,000yen per month
